English Furniture

Empire Cabinet c1880

These cabinets were made when England had an Empire. The sons and daughters would go to various Countries to run the Empire. The cabinet would store the small gifts sent home to the loving family. The cabinet was also a status symbol that the family had a son or daughter running the English Empire.

English Edwardian Dining Sideboard

As the Victorian Era came to a close the average person was earning more in the factories, than in domestic service. The people wanted for their own home the kind of things and furniture that they had seen while working as servants.

This is a fine quality Queen Anne dining sideboard, in first class condition. The added benefit is that the large beveled mirror brings light into a room.
